UK'S BIGGEST DOGGY PARTY Held on sunday 17th July 2011 - HUGE SUCCESS
2 comments

Doors opened and our preened and pampered pooches started the party rolling. Wearing outfits that were fit to grace the catwalks of Paris, Milan or New York. Not to be outdone by their pooches owners were also dressed to impress.

The day saw many doggy related stalls selling amazing products from all over the UK.

The Doggy fun classes went down a storm and so many pooches were crowned winners, every dog got their own goody bag with treats and toys. We also awarded every dog a rosette for taking part (cause we are nice like that)

We had the Rexon Performing ponies that put on an amazing show for us with dancing to Take That songs and the amazing Jack Russells stole the show when the performed with the ponies. A mini doggy sized Royal Landu was also paraded around the arena that had the lil pooches dressed in wedding attire just like Wills and Kate. Amazing!

The day was filled with TV crews, Photographers and of course our stars of the day the Battersea Dogs who seemed to enjoy eating gourmet treats from the Doggy friendly Pink chocolate fountain. Everyone loved the dogs and our party really helped raise the profile of Battersea Dogs & cats home.

We had entertainment from ITV semi finalists Scarlet Lowe (formally Miss Frank) Of X Factor singing and also the beautiful and totally cute Pippa Langhorne & Buddy (pip & Pup) semi finalists from ITV's Britains Got talent.

Many of the stars from Sky 1 Show A Different Breed attended and also TV & Radio presenters.

We can honestly say the party was a HUGE SUCCESS and guess what ................ it's gonna happen all over again BIGGER & BETTER NEXT YEAR!!!!!
