Style should always start with comfort
From lightweight jumpers to weatherproof coats, dog clothing can be practical, decorative or a little of both. The best choice depends on breed, coat type, weather and the dog’s willingness to wear it.
A well-designed dog coat should allow free shoulder movement and comfortable toileting. Measure chest girth and back length carefully, and think about how a harness will fit under or over the garment.
Some dogs benefit from extra warmth in cold, wet weather; others are happier without clothing. Watch your dog’s behaviour rather than dressing them simply because the outfit looks appealing.
